The Crown Collection
In this crown collection, The Finest French Wines brings together two icons: a Grand Cru from Chablis, shaped by centuries of heritage, and a Margaux of quiet nobility, matured into harmony. Together they embody the soul of French wine: precision and perfume, strength and grace, purity and depth.
Chablis Grand Cru ‘Les Clos’ 2020 – Domaine Raoul Gautherin & Fils
Drawn from the most revered slope in Chablis, this Grand Cru reflects the heritage of a family estate with nearly four centuries of savoir-faire. The 2020 vintage already shows beautiful ripeness: citrus and white blossom interlaced with richer notes of stone fruit and honeyed depth, carried by the mineral backbone that defines Les Clos. Structured, luminous, yet beginning to unfold into its grandeur, a Chablis of both clarity and maturity.
Margaux 2006 – Château Cantenac Brown, 3e Grand Cru Classé
Founded by the Scottish painter John Lewis Brown, Cantenac Brown unites art and wine in its very foundation. The 2006 vintage reveals the essence of Margaux: cassis, violets and tobacco leaf wrapped in silky tannins, with a lingering perfume that only this appellation can bestow. Matured to perfection, it is Bordeaux at its most graceful and aristocratic.
At €225, the Crown collection reflects more than two Grand Crus, it is the defining expression of The Finest French Wines. Chablis ‘Les Clos’ 2020, already unfolding into mature grandeur, stands beside a perfectly aged Margaux 2006. Together they form not just a duo, but a statement of heritage, artistry and timeless pleasure, presented with care as the hallmark of the collection.
